I will be simple & to the point.
I am different, but I am the same.
I am sick, but I am well.
I have lost control, but I am in control.
I have been hurt, but I have no scars.
I am alone, but I am joined by many.
These are just a few of the dichotomies that diabetes have placed in my life. I'm sure there will be more in the future.
INSULIN IS NOT A CURE.

It's funny how many of those juxtapositions diabetes has placed in our lives... and yet, they make sense.
I am crazy, yet I am sane.
;-)
